Web Site Coordinator

Position

Responsible for ensuring sustainable growth in traffic and lead generation for local and international industry-specific Web sites

Reports to

Head of International Operations

Tasks include

  1. Overall site governing including content, onsite and offsite SEO, links and visitor flow
  2. Prospecting and finding sites of interest for partnerships to build a substantial SEO value and a successful presence on the Internet for our clients
  3. Negotiating with and contacting interesting sites to purchase advertising and take SEO actions.
  4. Proofreading of guides, in-house content and translation of text to local languages.
  5. Handling advertising material, such as banners and articles

Professional requirements

  1. Excellent language skills in English and Spanish/Portuguese/Dutch
  2. A very strong sales and market focus
  3. Good coordination capabilities
  4. Interpersonal skills
  5. A good understanding of the Internet
  6. Web advertising experience preferable, but not a requirement

Tasks include

  1. Create and manage SEO friendly and relevant web content
  2. Write quality industry-related articles and text translations from English to Spanish/Portuguese/Dutch and vice-versa
  3. Provide language support for other roles, proofreading of e-mails, etc.

Professional requirements

  1. Excellent writing skills in English, plus Spanish, Portuguese or Dutch
  2. Basic understanding of the Internet and search engines
  3. Experience in writing for the Internet is preferable, but not a requirement
  4. SEO copy knowledge is preferable, but not a requirement
  5. Interviewing skills are preferable, but not a requirement
